Know These Anxiety Symptoms for Better Health

Although many of the most common anxiety symptoms are not life-threatening, it's important that you understand that these symptoms could indicate a much more dangerous or deadly disease. Although anxiety panic attacks and most depression is extremely uncomfortable, it's not considered dangerously life-threatening.



This isn't to say that anxiety and depression are not important. Nor is it my intent to simply dismiss the devastating effects of these mental disorders that affect the mood and negatively impact the life of the sufferers. I've been dealing with my own depression and anxiety for decades and truly understand the challenges of living with these emotional disorders.

The point to understand is that many of the common mental anxiety symptoms can also be symptomatic of very dangerous and deadly physical illnesses such as heart disease. This is why it's absolutely critical that if you or a loved one suspects. They are suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, depression or other mental disorder that an accurate diagnosis by a qualified professional be done. Don't assume that someone is suffering with the symptoms of anxiety if they haven't been diagnosed by a professional.

It's not enough to simply read information on the Internet and make a diagnosis yourself. It would be wise to use the Web as a starting point and also make an appointment with your medical doctor and possibly even a qualified clinical psychologist. This is especially important when dealing with childhood depression and anxiety

Another thing to be aware of is the intensity of the symptom. Some people may have shortness of breath simply due to the fear and anxiety of a certain action or situation, while others will literally feel as if they're being smothered and cannot breathe.
