There are many anxiety treatment options that run the spectrum from formal counseling to simply crazy. The key thing to remember is that no one treatment plan works for everyone.
While some, in their search to cure anxiety will do well using drugs and group therapy, others simply cannot tolerate the modern day anxiety medication provided. This may be do to increased sensitivity or other internal issue but it's sufficient to say that some cannot take the drugs. For these people, the work needed to fin alternative treatments can take them on a search of natural remedies and into the world of charlatans and quacks that promised cures within a week.
Though a natural remedy for anxiety is possible, these have been known to take longer to work but with fewer side effects for many. In the end, it's important for everyone that's suffering with mental disorders to understand that the battle is lifelong. One cannot expect that any of the recognized or natural, alternative treatments for anxiety will work immediately.

Psychodynamic therapy -- A branch of psychotherapy that deals with the psychology of mental or emotional forces or processes developed in early childhood and their effects on behavior and mental states.
Euphoria -- A feeling of elation that is not based on reality and is commonly exaggerated.
