All the notoriety however wasn't enough to keep him from suffering panic attacks and stage fright. His social anxiety was due to a fear of ridicule that he felt would happen if he ventured into public places such as shopping centers.
Susie O'Neill: A gold medal winner, Susie overcome her anxiety to experience her goal to win as an athlete. According to an interview with Australian Womens weekly, she explained how her anxiety lowered her ability of perform as a swimmer.
